What does a content day actually produce?
One shoot day, a month of content. The part worth asking about is what one day can honestly cover, and what it cannot.

A content day is one shoot day at your site with a Melbourne crew, cut into a month of content afterwards. Urban Media's content days start at $2,800, shot multi-cam as standard, and the output is a batch of cutdowns built for the platforms they are posted on rather than one long film nobody watches to the end.
Why it is a day, not a video
Most of the cost of a video shoot is the setup: getting a crew, the kit, the lighting and the people being filmed into the same room at the same time. Once that has happened, the marginal cost of the eleventh piece of content is small. Buying one video at a time means paying for that setup eleven times over.
What one day can honestly cover
A day covers one location properly, or two close together badly. It covers the people who are actually available on the day, which is the constraint that sinks more content days than any technical one. And it covers what already exists: the workshop, the product, the team, the process. It does not cover anything that has to be built, hired, cast or scheduled around somebody else's calendar.
That is worth being blunt about before booking, because the fix is nearly always free. Move the two people who matter into the same morning and the same day produces roughly twice as much.
How the cutdowns get decided
Cut for the platform, not to fill a runtime. Vertical for the feed, with the key line legible with the sound off, because that is how most of it is actually watched. The number of pieces is set by what the day genuinely yielded, not by a package promising a fixed count whether the material was there or not.
When a content day is the wrong thing to buy
If what you need is one considered piece carrying the whole brand, that is a brand film, and it starts at $4,500: a different process, with scripting and a proper pre-production pass in front of it. If you need content arriving every month without rebooking each time, that is a retainer. A content day is the right buy when there is a lot of real material sitting at one address and nothing shot of it.
Tell us what is at the site and who can be there on the day, and we will say honestly whether one day covers it.
